When planning your special day, it’s all too easy for the costs to spiral out of control. One of the largest expenses to consider is the entertainment and venue décor. Its possible to keep to a tight budget and still leave your guests with the wow factor.
There are a number of entertainment options available to book for your wedding reception. Some people go for a DJ whilst others prefer live music. With both of these options, most of the cost is paying for the labour. A cost effective alternative to this is music apps that can run many different songs as a playlist merging from one to another seamlessly just like a top DJ but removes all the hard work and allows you to choose the songs you want, when you want them.
The size of the venue and the number of guests you have in attendance will dictate the size of speaker and lighting system you go for. If a live band is more your style then, MRM can supply all the equipment needed. We have a range of Microphones, Speakers and Lighting available. If the band don’t have an engineer, then for a little extra we can supply one to ensure your night runs smoothly. Controlling the levels of a band can be a very complex thing due to the ever-changing levels being put out by the musicians. No one wants to be plagued by feedback for the duration of the wedding reception!
Another consideration is the lighting in the venue. MRM can supply uplighters for the perimeter of the venue to give off a nice vibe and a pleasant setting for you and your guests.
